 Psychotherapy and Coaching

Meet Alexis Silver, LICSW

Therapist for Women

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker specializing in helping women navigate emotional overwhelm, ADHD challenges, anxiety, depression and life transitions with clarity, compassion, and practical support.

I earned my Bachelor of Education in Human Services from Northeastern University and my Master of Social Work from Boston College.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across diverse clinical environments — including inpatient and outpatient mental health settings — led behavioral health services within the Boston Public Schools, directed an adoption program in Cambridge, and managed social workers at UMass Memorial Medical Center. These experiences provide me with both depth and breadth in supporting individuals through complex emotional and life challenges.

I completed advanced ADHD training through ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), equipping me with structured, skills-based strategies that I integrate directly into my therapeutic work. I also bring nervous system–informed (Polyvagal) training to help clients understand how stress response patterns relate to their symptoms.

As an LGBTQIA+ ally, I am committed to providing affirming, non-judgmental, and collaborative care.

My goal is to help you feel understood while building skills that support lasting change.
